Guest Designer:  Elizabeth
 design defined:
Bold sentiments can be CAS, especially when framed in white to preserve "white" space.

design defined:
Having your sentiment as your focal point allows you to preserve white space!

Deidre
design defined:
Multi-colored stamping can still be CAS if you leave plenty of white space.

Hannelie
design defined:
A small pop of pattern adds interest and keep your design clean.

Hazel
design defined:
Clustering your images to create a focal point keeps things CAS.

Jacquie
design defined:
Working with analogous colors helps keep the design CAS.

Jen
design defined:
White + 1 colour = CAS!

Joyce
design defined:
A single image and simple sentiment is always CAS.

Judy
design defined:
Use multiple inks on one sentiment for interest in a CAS card.

Kymona
design defined:
Adding a bow, keeps the card CAS!

Melissa
 design defined:
A monochromatic color scheme works well for CAS design.

Bright colours in small doses is a good CAS design principle.

  2. Lovely work ladies! I got a little carried away so my card ended up on the shabby side, but I can 'splain. The very first element I picked to use was a piece of vintage lace that belonged to my great-great grandmother. I decided that would be the perfect element to build a mothers' day card around, so this card creation has turned out to be a generational affair. That's my story. :)
