Week 134: MONOCHROME

Ready for a new challenge?  We're going to limit the number of colors you can use this week!  This will either make CAS design a bit easier for you or you're going to be muttering under your breath!  We can't help it!  Simple color schemes really do wonders on a clean & simple design!

STAMPlorations is returning as our sponsor and this week's winner will receive their choice of a $10 gift certificate to the online store OR any 2 ARTplorations stencils!  Don't forget that during this week's challenge all participants will receive 10% off any orders placed in the online store by using the code:  CASOLOGY!

Now let's go ahead and take a look at what the CASology team and this week's guest designer created to inspire your monochromatic creations!

Guest Designer:  Maria
 design defined:
Play with the negative of die cuts for a graphic image which packs a punch.

Ardyth
design defined:
One layer, lots of white space and a pop of colour makes it easy to be CAS.

Gillian
design defined:
Keeping your elements on one third of the design preserves white space.

Hazel
design defined:
'White space' doesn't need to be white on a CAS card.

Jen
design defined:
Keep a busy pattern to a small portion of your CAS card.

Joyce
design defined:
Repurpose non-craft items, like paint chips, for your CAS card.

Judy
design defined:
Let your patterned papers be your focal point on CAS cards.

 Kimberly
 design defined:
Border stamps are perfect to ground a CAS image!

Kymona
 design defined:
Stamping images in opposite corners creates great flow on a CAS card!

May
design defined:
Create your own stencil to add some unique pattern to your CAS card.

Melissa
  design defined:
Use a popped up image for a white on white design to add a little dimension.
design defined:
Embossed backgrounds add interest to CAS design.

Now go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CST)!
