Week 93: ELECTRIC

Time to jump start your creative minds again this week with a word that's full of life!  You have really been impressing us with all your CAS designs lately and we're excited to begin a new challenge week so we can see even more of your clever creations!  Before we send you off to create, however, we should mention that our wonderful sponsor, Cathy Parlitsis (Stamps & Scrapbooks), is back this week!

She is offering a generous $25.00 Gift Certificate prize to the Online Store (Stampin’ Up! Product) to this week's winner!  Please note: This gift certificate is only for US Customers, so international prize winners will be offered a seat in the Occasions Online PC Class.

Let's go ahead and see what the design team and this week's guest designer created to help spark your creativity!

Guest Designer:  Harriet
 design defined:
Rule of thirds and simple die cuts can be a focal point on a CAS card.

 Joyce
design defined:
You can stamp a little scene, just keep it simple and uncluttered

 Judy
design defined:
Keep your stamping to a minimum and let the image do the talking!

Kimberly
design defined:
Sentiment placement can ground your image

May
design defined:
Use the card base as part of your focal image.

Meghan
design defined:
Even small cards can be clean and simple. Keep to a single main element and include lots of white space!

Melissa
 design defined:
Use diagonal lines to add interest.

Tracey
design defined:
Use patterned paper and embellishments in small measures to keep your design CAS.

Ardyth
design defined:
White space can even be black!

Gillian
design defined:
Try using a contrasting card base to create a fuss free border

Jen
design defined:
Stamp over you image in white to create the feel of movement.

Now go have fun creating your CAS design and don't forget to link up here on the challenge blog by Monday at NOON (CDT)!
